The SuperWackPacked (TM) General Lee is one of the best bang for the bucks in the radio world. This is by far our #1 best seller. Why? Well first of all what matters most to many users is a few things. First talkpower. SuperWackPacked General Lees talk phat. The redesign we do to this chassis allows for maximum talkpower. We get 2-6x (or more) amt of talkpower (avg watts) out of the General Lee then the avg Tune/Peak type shop. This radio is well known for talking massive distance with the right antenna setups. Second, it hears well. What good is a radio if you can talk phat, but can't hear well. We highly recommend the SuperRx be added to the SuperWackPack, its a awesome combo! But even the avg ears on this unit hears well. SuperWackPacked, SuperRx, static discharge, 3 position close talk switch, and dim high LEDs are the most common mods done to this radio. Remember CDL holders get package deals as well!
The only negative to all these blue light chassis is the bright blue LEDS they come with. Ask about getting them dimmed if you don't want them so bright on the high side setting. New General Lees come with Dim switches but 8 out of 10 still have us dim the high setting as it will more then likely burn out!
Features include the famous Connex Echo/Reverb board, its the best in the business. A great (6) position band selector for easy band navigation. And more of course. Whats the build quality like? Awesome. While all electronics can fail, this chassis rarely does. Our SuperWackPack makes it run cooler, last longer, and talk more distance. This is one of the winners in the radio world.
These are built well, and use good parts and take beating and banging. Do you need an amp, or already run one? The SuperWackPacked version drives amps really well but make sure you tell us so we can set it up for you. Just let us know this is what you want to do with it. No amp, now or in the future? This radio still rocks, the SuperWackPack will get you out with serious audio! If you need a radio you can hook up to the positive/negative posts or slipseat this is the right radio as well. Can't say enough about the SuperWackPacked 60-80+ watt (with massive RMS) General Lee.
